Service description
1. General description of the servicemilloin.energy provides electricity price and fundamentals forecasts using machine learning-based prediction models. Our service helps energy market players optimize energy production, consumption, purchasing, and sales.
The forecasts included in the Service are based solely on data collected by milloin.energy from multiple sources and forecasts and is created using a method developed by milloin.energy. The Service Provider does not warrant that the forecasts will correspond to the actual development of prices. The Customer is responsible for the use of the forecasts and other information produced by the Service, as well as for decisions and actions based on such forecasts and information.

Day-ahead forecasts: FI, SE1, SE3, EE, LV, LT, PL
mFRR-reserve capacity marker forecasts: FI
Fundamental forecasts: Finland, Sweden, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Germany
2. Forecast implementation and background
In addition to machine learning, the implementation is based on a strong understanding of the electricity market. The forecast model responds flexibly to different situations in the electricity market. The model uses weather forecasts, the status of power plants and transmission connections, fuel prices, hydropower and several other variables from a wide area of Europe as input data.

The Service displays spot price forecasts (median, upper and lower limits) hour by hour/15 min for the next 7 days on the electricity market.
4. Data securityProcessing of user data:
- We only store essential data: email addresses, organisation details and password hashes
- All data is transferred using TLS 1.3 encryption
- Passwords are only stored in a securely hashed form (never in plain text)

- Data encryption during both storage and transfer
- Staff training in cyber security
- Processes for handling information security incidents
- Measures to ensure business continuity, e.g. in crisis situations

5. Availability
We aim to keep the Service operational around the clock. Service updates are scheduled outside office hours. Price forecasts depend on external data, the lack or inaccuracy of which may prevent forecasts from being made or reduce their quality, even if the Service itself is available. We also endeavour to correct any data deficiencies as soon as possible, during office hours on weekdays in accordance with section 7.

6. Pricing
Prices are based on price quotes based on customer needs. Pricing may be changed in accordance with the Terms of Service.
7. Problem solvingCustomers can report problems to the Service Provider by email (info@milloin.energy) or by telephone (+358 40 549 8145) on weekdays between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Problems are primarily resolved through customer service. Service-related fault reports are accepted 24 hours a day at info@milloin.energy. The service hours for troubleshooting milloin.energy services are weekdays from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
