Project description
The aim of the project is to produce forecasts of the price of up- and down-scaling products in the mFRR capacity markets in the electricity market for one day ahead in Finland, and to enable further development for expansion to other Nordic bidding areas. The project's forecasts can also be sold to international operators with production or consumption in Finland.
The aim is to help electricity market participants to make better offers to the different electricity markets, including the above-mentioned markets, which are the actual markets covered by the forecasts. This will improve the efficiency of existing electricity generation and consumption resources, contributing to a green transition, among other things.
